Peace & Justice Center VT

The Peace & Justice Center is a Vermont-based non-profit, membership organization. Their mission is to create a just and peaceful world. To this end, they work on the interconnected issues of economic and racial justice, peace, and human rights through education, advocacy, training, nonviolent activism, and community organizing.

National Bail Fund Network

The National Bail Fund Network is made up of over ninety community bail and bond funds across the country. The NBFN regularly updates this listing of community bail funds that are freeing people by paying bail/bond and are also fighting to abolish the money bail system and pretrial detention.

VCJR’s mission is to achieve an effective and restorative criminal justice response. Their vision is a system of addressing interpersonal harm that is restorative and community-based, using intervention as a support rather than a punishment.

VT Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers

The Vermont Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers is a group comprised of attorneys admitted to practice law in Vermont who are actively engaged in the defense of criminal cases.

 

VT Law School National Center on Restorative Justice

The NCRJ’s mission is the advancement of restorative justice (RJ) principles and practices, focusing on less punitive responses to harm, substantial input by victims, accountability, opportunities for people who cause harm to make amends, stronger and more resilient individuals and communities, and broader academic options for those under court supervision or sentence.
